1. Information We Collect

We collect minimally necessary information to provide the TorqueStack automated maintenance tracking service. This includes:

• Account Information: Your email address and preferred name when you register.
• Bike and Component Data: Details about the bicycles and components you actively track in our system.
• Strava Data (Authorized Integration Only): If you choose to connect your Strava account, we access a read-only token to fetch your cycling activities (distance and time) to automatically calculate wear on your components. We do not store GPS map routes or sensitive biometric data.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used strictly for the core functionality of TorqueStack:

• To maintain your digital garage and track the lifespan of your components.
• To send automated email alerts when a component reaches its servicing threshold.
• To sync mileage accurately with your linked Strava activities.

We do NOT sell, rent, or secretly share your personal data with advertisers.

3. Third-Party Services

TorqueStack utilizes standard third-party infrastructure to deliver our service:

• Strava: For fetching activity mileage (only when explicitly authorized). You can revoke this access at any time from your Strava settings or the TorqueStack integrations dashboard.
• Resend: Used solely to send transactional emails (alerts, password resets).

4. Data Retention

We will retain your data as long as your account remains active. If you choose to delete your account, we will permanently remove your bicycle, component, and Strava caching data from our primary databases within 30 days.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to access, export, or delete your personal data. You can manage your tracking data directly within the TorqueStack dashboard or by contacting our support team.
